...the blue cracks start glowing in a slight shadow yet, well, there is
no need to wait till it's the only one source of light in the area.
For the best effect, all You have to do is hold the fingernail
under the sunlight, simple lamp or UV lamp for a while.
The glowing resin is just an add-on, so You can waive this or remove it
later on Your own by soaking the fingernail in acetone for ca. 24 hours.
In the basic version, the cracks between 'ice floes' are just dark.
The model in pictures was made of nickel-free surgical steel (NFS) and
was polished into a high gloss. It can also be made of other materials.
